Reviewers’ Responsibilities
Reviewers play a vital role in maintaining the academic quality and integrity of the Gobeshona International Publisher. They are expected to provide a fair, well-informed, and timely assessment of submitted manuscripts, focusing on the originality, scholarly contribution, and relevance of the work.
Key responsibilities include:
-
Objective Evaluation: Reviews must be conducted objectively, without bias, and with clear reasoning to support the judgment. Constructive criticism should be offered, and personal remarks are to be avoided.
-
Scholarly Relevance: Reviewers assess whether the manuscript aligns with the scope of Gobeshona International Publisher, whether the research questions and methodology are appropriate, and whether the results contribute meaningfully to the academic field.
-
Manuscript Quality: Special attention should be given to the clarity of expression, structure, referencing style, and overall presentation of the manuscript. Reviewers should suggest improvements where needed.
-
Confidentiality: All submitted materials must be treated as confidential. Unpublished content must not be used for personal research or shared without the explicit written consent of the author(s).
-
Conflict of Interest: Reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest (financial, academic, institutional, or personal) that may influence their review. If such a conflict exists, the reviewer should decline the invitation and notify the editorial office immediately.
-
Ethical Concerns: If a reviewer suspects ethical violations such as plagiarism, data fabrication, or inappropriate authorship, they are expected to inform the Editor-in-Chief or Journal Manager promptly.
-
Relevant Literature: Reviewers should note any significant publications not cited in the manuscript. Suggestions for additional references should be relevant and not self-serving.
-
Expertise: Reviewers should only accept review assignments within their area of academic expertise. If a manuscript falls outside their field, they must decline the invitation.
-
Review Format: Reviewers are expected to use the standard Gobeshona International Publisher Reviewer Comments Form. The form is available for download [Review Form]. Once completed, reviewers should email the form to support@gobeshona.in
We sincerely appreciate the time and expertise reviewers contribute to support rigorous academic publishing.
